The short version
We use a small number of first-party cookies and similar local storage entries that are necessary to run ToastVibe. We do not use third-party advertising or analytics cookies.
What we set
Strictly necessary
- sb-access-token / sb-refresh-token — keeps you signed in. Stored in your browser. Cleared on sign-out.
- theme — remembers light/dark preference.
- csrf — protects state-changing requests.
Functional
- feed-sort — remembers your Hot/New/Top preference.
- sidebar-state — remembers whether you collapsed the sidebar.
What we do NOT use
- No Google Analytics, no Facebook pixel, no advertising cookies.
- No cross-site tracking. No fingerprinting.
- No third-party scripts that read or write cookies on our domain.
Managing cookies
Because we only use cookies that are necessary or functional, we don't display a cookie banner. You can clear cookies for toastvibe.com at any time in your browser settings — you'll just be signed out and your UI preferences reset.
Changes
If we ever introduce non-essential cookies, we'll update this page and show a consent prompt first.
